Meet the inspirational Anora, 16 from Tajikistan.

Anora is a black belt in Taekwondo, and tells us about the importance of overcoming gender stereotypes in Tajikistan.

Oxfam partnered with the National Federation of Taekwondo in Tajikistan to encourage more women and girls to participate in the sport by improving toilets and hygiene facilities in Taekwondo clubs and coordinating school scholarships for those who attended training – this eventually became written into government policy.
