This panel is a discussion on LGBTI+ Rights and human rights defenders, led by the UK Parliament’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on Global LGBTI+ Rights.

Human rights defenders across the world face enormous challenges in doing their vital work, challenges which are amplified when they are also LGBTI+.

As co-chair of the intergovernmental Equal Rights Coalition and a global leader in LGBTI+ rights, members of the APPG and LGBTI HRDs discuss the role the UK can play in supporting LGBTI+ human rights defenders.
