On Day Two we present Sally Robinson a progressive indie-folk artist from South Wales. Sally’s performances combine compelling lyricism, gluey guitar lines, and soaring melodies to help share her stories.
Frequently compared to Joni Mitchell, Laura Marling and The Staves she’s been taking advantage of the decreased use of interesting spaces during the pandemic and performs her set in a deserted science lab.
Every day from now until Christmas the OXJAM team will post an exclusive set from a series of exciting upcoming artists, giving them the opportunity and platform to shine. Each set is introduced by Shaun Keaveny (BBC Radio 6 Music). This project is in support of Oxfam’s ‘Together Against Hunger’ appeal. If you enjoy the music, please donate.
