Nav and his washing machine reach Iraq | Oxfam GB |



Bath University engineer Nav Sawhney made a poverty-busting washing machines for under $30 after discovering how much time and effort women and girls had to spend to wash clothes. Working with Oxfam in Iraq the washing machines will be used by people who have been forced to flee their homes by conflict and are now living in camps. Nav hopes that the washing machine will be able to be made by people living in the camps for others in the camps.
