Mulberry's first sustainable leather bag

Mulberry has launched the company’s first 100% sustainable leather bag, the Portobello. The £795 luxury tote is made in the UK at Mulberry’s carbon-neutral Somerset factories and is stitched with recycled thread. All of the leathers used are a by-product of food production, Mulberry said.

The net proceeds of the sale of the first 100 bags will be donated to the World Land Trust, the company announced. This conservation charity funds the creation of reserves and provides permanent protection for habitats and wildlife.
