LGBTI+ rights in Eastern Europe | Amnesty UK

Join us for an inspiring panel discussion on the fight for LGBTI+ rights in Eastern Europe featuring very special guests, human rights defenders Vitalina Koval and Elżbieta Podleśna.

These brave women are campaigning for LGBTI+ rights in Poland and Ukraine and have both suffered personal attacks as a result. We will hear how they and others in their community continue their courageous action in the face of hatred, attacks and even criminal charges.

Don’t miss the chance to hear from two extraordinary LGBTI+ human rights defenders making positive changes in their countries.

** HOSTED BY **

Sotez Chowdhury – Amnesty UK’s community organising manager.

This event will be interpreted by Max Marchewicz (they/them).
