John Lewis rewards costumers for clothes and beauty recycling

Customers who bring back empty beauty product packaging and pre-loved clothing are rewarded by John Lewis with gift vouchers.

The John Lewis beauty product recycling scheme ‘BeautyCycle’ was tested earlier this year. This week it is being permanently introduced to 36 shops which have a Beauty Department. ‘My John Lewis’ loyal customers can recycle up to five of their used beauty products’ packaging in exchange for £5 off their next beauty purchase at John Lewis & Partners.

‘Fashion BuyBack’ rewards customers for bringing back up to three items of pre-loved clothing from any of the brands stocked by John Lewis in return for £3 per item. This scheme was introduced in early October and will run for six weeks.
