Inquiry into Mother and Baby Institutions in Northern Ireland | Amnesty UK



Women in Northern Ireland who attended Mother & Baby Institutions suffered arbitrary detention, forced labour, ill-treatment, and the removal and forced adoption of their babies – human rights violations. After the announcement of an Inquiry to examine the issue, Amnesty and Ulster University are holding an event series to inform what to inform what an inquiry – co-designed by survivors – should look like.
