𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟲 – 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝘂𝘁 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘀, 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀
For Day Six we introduce ‘Freshly Cut Grass’ who formed during lockdown and are based in Wales. The band meet at the crossroads between Frank Zappa and Snarky Puppy. A genre bending outfit that bring a vintage groove-based rhythm section under exploratory guitars and innovative horns creating an ‘old sound in a modern life.
Every day from now until Christmas the OXJAM team will post an exclusive set from a series of exciting upcoming artists, giving them the opportunity and platform to shine. Each set is introduced by Shaun Keaveny (BBC Radio 6 Music).
